This digital exhibition showcases 135 works of art by students of Reliance Foundation Schools. Children have used
different medium and worked upon themes that touched and inspired them the most in creating heartfelt tribute to the
Father of the Nation, his ideals and achievements.
Mahatma Gandhi’s life continues to motivate humanity and his contribution to human development is a teaching and learning
opportunity in every classroom. These discussions are the need of the hour as Bapu’s deep love for humanity, peace and
nonviolence can light the way to a better world, a world where every child receives love and has the chance to be happy
Every year, Reliance Foundation Schools encourage students to participate in Swachh Bharat Mission and organise various
activities to help them understand the Gandhian way of life.
All students worked on the theme 'Happy 150th Birthday Bapu!', which had further sub-themes based on Mahatma Gandhi’s
life and works.
The sub-themes were:
- 1. Nonviolence
- 2. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan/ Clean Water & Sanitation/ Jal Shakti/ Conservation of Environment
- 3. The Importance of Values in Life
- 4. Equality among Mankind
- 5. Gandhi in the 21st Century (In this day and time, what is the importance of nonviolence, truth, being the change, working in the present for a better future)
